Built for This Work
Mike did not fall into plumbing. He trained for it. After completing a nine-month plumbing technology program at WyoTech in Fremont and earning his diploma, Mike started his residential service in 2005. Another important skill Mike needed was reading blueprints, so he took a blueprint-reading course at Diablo Valley College when he moved into new construction. This was important for understanding the entire construction project, which allowed him to plan the plumbing project correctly from start to finish.
From 2005 to 2010 Mike worked for Superior Plumbing out of Fairfield, a large plumbing contractor that subcontracted for major construction companies throughout the area. He was good at it. However, new construction tends to limit a plumber's work to the same systems and installations repeatedly. Mike, a licensed plumber, also holds a California journeyman plumber certification and wanted to apply his skills to the entire scope of residential plumbing needs.
In 2010 he founded East Bay Plumber Mike out of Discovery Bay and has been serving Brentwood and the surrounding area ever since. His long time partner Angelo works alongside him โ when you call, one of them picks up, and one of them shows up.
When you call, you get Mike โ not a dispatcher or subcontractor. The same person you talk to is the one who shows up and does the work. Just straightforward service from a local plumber in Brentwood you can count on.
